Product and Launch Blueprint
Make the next product decisions before you commit to the build.
Turn your product idea into a clear first-release plan: what to validate, what to build, what to defer, and the technical approach your team needs.
A focused planning engagement with a decision brief and phased delivery plan.
I spent two years as Director of Engineering for a women’s telehealth app, plus hands-on healthcare AI platform work.
When this helps - You have a direction. The next decisions are harder.
- The first release keeps growing. You need to decide what belongs in the first release and what can wait.
- AI could help, but the role is unclear. You need to identify where AI adds value and where people should remain in control.
- Technical choices are coming early. You need to weigh architecture, data, vendor, and integration choices before committing.
- You need a plan others can execute. You need a shared view of scope, dependencies, and responsibilities for your team or delivery partner.
You do not need finished requirements. Bring your idea, existing materials, or the question holding up your team.
What the engagement produces
A clear plan for your first release.
The Blueprint focuses on four planning areas. We agree on the scope and depth before work begins.
Product decision brief
Who the product serves, the core workflow, what the first release needs to prove, and the assumptions to test.
First-release scope
What to build now, what to buy or integrate, and what to defer.
Technical approach
Recommended architecture and integrations, data and privacy considerations, and AI’s role where relevant—with the reasoning behind key choices.
Phased delivery plan
Milestones, dependencies, team or vendor needs, key risks, and the decisions needed before implementation.
This engagement covers planning. Implementation, detailed design, specialist compliance review, and detailed estimates are scoped separately when needed.
How it works - From open questions to a practical plan.
Step 1
Define the decision.
We discuss your product, users, goals, constraints, and the questions holding up progress. We agree on scope and inputs before work begins.
Step 2
Evaluate the options.
I review your materials and work with relevant stakeholders to assess product scope, technical choices, AI fit, and delivery options.
Step 3
Recommend a path.
You receive a decision brief and phased plan. We review the recommendations, tradeoffs, and next steps together.
Relevant experience
Planning grounded in delivery.
I spent two years as Director of Engineering for a women’s telehealth app. In an ongoing healthcare AI platform engagement, I have also helped turn a broad product vision into a phased delivery plan, working through architecture, sensitive data, integrations, and AI boundaries. That experience informs the recommendations I make in a Blueprint. I lead The Fractional Stack and work with you directly on this plan.

Common questions
Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need a full product requirements document?
No. The engagement can start with a vision, a few workflows, or a decision you are struggling to make. Available materials help us set the right scope.
Will the Blueprint include a budget and timeline?
The plan can outline delivery phases, dependencies, staffing assumptions, and an initial budget or timeline range when there is enough information. A detailed implementation estimate is scoped separately.
Is this only for healthcare or AI products?
No. Healthcare and AI are areas of experience, but the work starts with your product decision and constraints.
Will you stay involved after the plan?
If useful, we can discuss ongoing Fractional CTO leadership or separately scoped implementation support. Neither is required to buy a Blueprint.
