We discuss what you’re trying to achieve, what is happening today, and where you need help. Together, we determine whether a focused engagement or ongoing leadership is the right starting point.
Agree on the work
Before work begins, we agree on what’s included, what you’ll receive, timing, and price. We also confirm responsibilities, access to information or systems, and any use of AI-assisted analysis.
Do the work
The work may involve reviewing code, assessing plans and delivery practices, speaking with your team or vendors, or designing a workflow. I check the evidence behind my recommendations and explain any remaining questions.
Review the results
We review the work together, discuss the recommendations, and identify priorities and next steps. The discussion includes the people who will make the decisions or carry the work forward.
Decide what comes next
A focused engagement can end here, with your team taking the work forward. Implementation or follow-up work is agreed separately; ongoing CTO support keeps me involved in technical decisions and delivery.
